About this site
Social Medicine is the brainchild of Evangeline Warren, a sociologist who studies health, race, and reproductive rights. Here, she shares her thoughts on current events, adding necessary context from social science and health research to help us all better understand the world around us.
Eva’s scientific research has been published in a variety of leading journals. She received her MA in Sociology from The Ohio State University and her AB in Sociology from Kenyon College. She is expected to graduate with her PhD in Sociology from The Ohio State University this spring, after defending her dissertation on the racial order of American life.
You can find her published academic work through her Google Scholar profile and you can connect with her for conversation on Bluesky.
